Good morning to you all.
It’s September already, the months are passing quickly even though we have been hampered by Covid 19. The tourists have eventually gone home and we have Javea back, thank goodness.
We all, on the Committee, hope everyone is fine and well and enjoying the lovely weather. The slight drop in temperature is welcome and bearable.
This month was supposed to be our first general meeting after the summer break, but unfortunately due to Covid we can’t meet face-to-face for the rest of this year. However, we will be having a virtual general online Zoom meeting on September 30 at 11.15am, which you can attend and see a recorded presentation by our own Peter Atkinson.
Details have been circulated by email on how to join the meeting if you would like to attend.
Please remember we are still desperately looking for a member to join us on the Executive Committee in the role of Groups Coordinator. It’s not a difficult post, but an interesting one coordinating and dealing with our groups.
The Association needs a full committee to operate successfully. We are all volunteers trying our best to give you a good U3A, so please give it your consideration.
