Here we are again, another month gone by and still in partial lockdown. However, the restrictions have been lifted to a degree and we now have a bit more freedom.
Valerie and I planned a birthday celebration last weekend and we were supposed to celebrate it at the Moulin Rouge in Paris which, needless to say, had to be postponed.
However, we were able to go out for lunch to a Steakhouse, which made a pleasant change from being housebound.
As you can appreciate, there is no U3A General Meeting this month and group gatherings have been suspended, but I’m sure the individual Group Leaders are keeping their group members updated.
Don’t forget our U3A Members’ Facebook page and our website has information posted to keep you abreast with developments as publicly announced by the Spanish Government.
I know many people are waiting for more freedom of movement to enable them to visit the UK and also for those who are trying to get back to their homes in Spain. We will eventually get there but, in the meantime, we must be sensible and take all the required precautions.
Take care everybody and stay safe.
Best wishes to all.
