Our next Travellers Tales presentation will be given by Peter Atkinson, when he will tell us about the travels he and Gill made to the cooler regions of Northern Spain in August of last year. Sadly this will be Peter’s last presentation to the group, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him, on behalf of all TT members, for the many excellent presentations which he has given to the group over the years. Peter’s first TT presentation was on the 25th November 2008, when he told us about the tour he and Gill had made to New Zealand.
Peter, through his many and varied presentations to local U3As and other associations, and Gill, through her love of singing in choirs, and the numerous concerts she has taken part in over the years, have both made a tremendous contribution to life in the Marina Alta. We will miss them! So come along and raise a toast to Peter & Gill at TT and wish them a very fond farewell, and all the very best for their new adventure in Canada.
Venue: The Javea Players’ Studio, Tuesday 5th March; doors will open at 10.15 hrs and there will be cava and nibbles available before Peter’s talk commencing at 11.00 hrs.
