A new SC&C trip to Cazorla, Tuesday 1st – Saturday 5th October 2024

A new Spanish Culture & Cuisine trip is being planned to Cazorla, which was chosen as the capital of Spanish rural tourism in 2022. The small town of Cazorla, picturesque and of great tourist interest, lies in the shade of the Peña de los Halcones, with the mountains behind and an immense sea of olive trees below. It is situated within the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas National Park, the largest protected natural space in Spain: a labyrinth of valleys, gorges, mountains and flat lands of enormous hydrological importance (due to the numerous rivers and streams which spring within the park).

It is of great botanical importance due to the different varieties of pine trees and many endemic species, and also for its wildlife.
