The U3A Wine Tasting Group’s latest Wednesday meeting featured five wines presented by member Peter Allin – two whites and three reds.
Peter’s wife Lorraine described it as a “controversial/Marmite presentation” with most participants loving the selection and others, not so much “hating”, but preferring some of the wines to others!
Everyone agreed, however, that Peter’s presentation was nothing short of excellent and informative.
Raffle winners were also delighted with their prize bottles.
The meeting, held in the restaurant at the Pinosol Hotel, included cold tapas served by staff as an accompaniment to the wines.
Thanks to group leader Trevor Rush for organising yet another enjoyable get-together.
