The group meets on a monthly basis to discuss and taste wines of many types and from various regions, Countries or Continents. The group is for our enjoyment and fellowship while we taste some wine. There may also be occasional away-days to visit a region or a bodega.
There is a waiting list in operation which is constantly being reviewed.

How the Group Operates
The monthly meetings will be held on a Thursday at 12:30 for an 13:00 start.
The normal cost of the meeting will be €22 each, but this amount may vary depending on the theme of the selected wines and food. The money will be collected on the day of the meeting and the correct amount will be appreciated!
All members will be sent an email during the second week of each month with the date and theme of the next meeting.
Please reply to this email within 3 days to ensure you reserve your place. If there are places still available, further invites will be sent to others on the waiting list. This will give everyone an opportunity to attend the meeting and meet new people. Please not that based on the capacity of the restaurant, replies will be on a first come, first served basis.
Replies will be confirmed and if you haven’t had a confirmation within three days, your email has obviously been lost in the ether and you will need to contact the group leader by email.
The Meeting
When you arrive at the meeting one of us will be collecting the money and the other will have numbered tokens in a bag as a lucky dip to find out which table you are on. This will help you to meet new people and make friends.
A raffle ticket is included in the cost of the activity.
Water and bread will be provided during the tasting.
There will normally be a selection of four/five wines during the lunch tasting. The selected wines will be presented by one of the group members and will be from either a specific region in Spain, a Country, or Continent.
The restaurant host Elizabeth will provide us with some freshly produced tapas focussing on the specific region, Country or Continent. Extra drinks and coffee will be available to purchase at the bar, during, or after the meeting.

NOTE: cancellations in less than 24 hours will incur the full payment.
