There are two separate groups for this activity, due to popularity, one is held on a Wednesday lunchtime and the other Thursday morning. Both operate independently, check out the one that suits you best.
Wine Appreciation Wednesday

The group meets on a monthly basis to discuss and taste wines of many types and from various regions. The group is for our enjoyment and fellowship while we taste some wine. There may also be occasional away-days to visit a region or a bodega.
Unfortunately a waiting list is in operation.

How the Group Operates
- The monthly meetings will normally be on the third Wednesday of each month at 12:30 for an 13:00 start.
- The cost of the meeting will be €25 each. Correct money would be appreciated!
- All members will be sent an email during the second week of each month with the date of the next meeting.
- Please reply to this email asap to ensure you reserve a place. Replies will be confirmed and, if you haven’t had a confirmation within three days, your email has obviously been lost in the ether and you will need to contact the group leader.
- A bus service is available to members who do not wish to drive to the restaurant, at an additional cost. There are 2 pick up points available.
The Meeting
- When you arrive at the meeting you will be greeted with a glass of Cava and assigned a table number.
- A raffle ticket is included in the cost of the activity.
- Payment for the meeting will be collected at each table.
- Water and bread will be provided during the tasting.
- There will normally be a selection of four/five wines during the lunch tasting.
- Our host Elizabeth will provide us with some freshly produced tapas. Extra drinks and coffee will be available at all times
(at an extra cost) - Cancellations if at the last minute you are unable to attend then please email the Group leader immediately.
- NOTE cancellations in less than 24 hours will incur the full payment.
