The last time before the summer break we will meet on the 28th of June. The next discussion group question is really broad, don’t you think that even the title itself involves a lot of questions?
First of all, we will need to define what we will be talking about, taking into account that questioning and challenging might be two different things.
-Who is questioning/challenging: individuals, groups, non-government organizations, etc.?
-What authorities are challenged: schools, companies bosses, rules, laws, governments?
-Benefits and consequences to whom: the challenger, the authority, society?
We will consider concrete examples of attempts to question and challenge authority, discuss the circumstances surrounding their outcomes, and perhaps come up with a formula for success.
Our final meeting before the summer break will be interesting!
