Around and About Gata de Gorgos

It was a nice morning but very windy for our walk this week. 20 of us met in Gata to walk along the lanes and paths around Gata. We started by walking up to the Ermita, then down towards the railway line. The path becomes steep in places but all our walkers made it safely. We did see a lot of nests for the processional caterpillars, which are due to hatch next month, so walkers beware, especially those with dogs. We had good views all around and at one point were able to see right across to Ibiza. Thanks Ally for leading us.

La Plana and The Windmills
A nice, relatively easy walk with beautiful sea views, to the viewpoint at the windmills and back around to the car park. A flat walk with some tarmac, some flat compacted paths and some rocky surfaces. Tom will lead this walk.
