Leaving Javea early on Friday morning in rain and black clouds it was a relief to be in sunshine after a few kilometres along the
motorway on our way to Castellon de la Plana.
We were met at the coach stop by our Guide, Birgit, who took us on a two hour walking tour giving an insight into the town and
some of its history.
There are some lovely buildings, interesting sculptures, lots of pretty flower beds and squares with bars
cafes and restaurants.
After the group split up for lunch we made our way back down the A7 to Javea in the late afternoon.
