Teruel and Albarracin

DAY 1. JAVEA – ALBARRACIN
Please note Albarracin is a hill town and if you have walking difficulties you may not be able to participate in the walking part of the tour.
Please pack suitable walking shoes
Departure time to be confirmed from Javea. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel. Lunch included.
Excursion with a LOCAL GUIDE to Albarracín, declared a Historic-Artistic Site. Entrance included to the House Museum, we will walk through the medieval streets of Albarracin where we will observe the captivating popular architecture, made up of modest houses built with wooden frames and reddish plaster partitions that give a characteristic colour to the complex to reach the 16th century Cathedral. Return to the hotel where dinner and accommodation included.
DAY 2. Travel to Teruel and visit Esencia MINING MUSEUM

Day2
Breakfast.
Excursion to the Esencia Mining Museum (entrance included) is a real coal mine (Lignite) enabled to be visited by tourists. The Cuencas Mineras region of Teruel, to which the municipality of Escucha belongs, and the municipality itself, have a mining history and identity for more than 150 years. Return to the hotel. Where lunch is included.
Excursion to Teruel with a local guide, a World Heritage monumental complex and famous for the medieval history of the lovers of Teruel, which gives it charm and intrigue. Of particular interest is the Mudejar architecture throughout the city, highlighting the Cathedral Tower, those of San Salvador and San Pedro. In the latter, there is the mausoleum where the famous “lovers” are buried (entrance not included); and the Tower of San Martin. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation
DAY 3. RODENAS – PERACENSE CASTLE – MORA DE RUBIELOS –

Day 3
Breakfast. Excursion to Rodenas, which presents a perfect symbiosis between the Rodeno stone used in its houses and the surroundings of the town.
Next, we will visit the Peracense Castle (entrance included) is one of the most beautiful and unknown Aragonese castles. Surrounded by a unique natural environment, its builders took advantage of the original topography of the land to build a first-class defensive enclave. Return to the hotel for Lunch.
In the afternoon departure to the nearby town of Mora de Rubielos. We will walk through its most typical streets to admire the Parish House, a work of the 17th century; the Castle of Mora de Rubielos with its defensive towers, the chapel and bays of the porticoed courtyard from the 14th and 15th centuries; or the Collegiate Church, a Gothic work. Next, we will go to Rubielos de Mora where we will visit the Church of Santa María la Mayor and take a tour of its streets. Return to the hotel. For our dinner and accommodation

Day 4
SEGORBE to JAVEA
Breakfast. Excursion to Segorbe, its medieval layout hides architectural gems such as the Santa María Cathedral or the remains of its ancient wall, its nerve centre is the Plaza Agua Limpia and its Town Hall, the old Palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli

stands there. Lunch will be taken in a local restaurant. Then departure back to Javea.
