The next walk on the 28th April will be from La Rana.
Terrain. Flattish walk along sandy and stony paths, with one very small, reedy barranca to cross with stepping stones if needed. Circular walk passing the ancient Millenium olive tree. Lovely views of the Montgo.
Duration… about 1.15 hrs depending on speed of walkers and stops taken. 5.7 kms.
Meeting point. 9.55 to sign in ready leave at 10am. New car park at the historic lavadero by the big eucalyptus tree. Coming from Javea on the CV734 Javea to Gata road, turn right at the roundabout where you normally turn left to go to Gata. It has the Gata de Gorgos monument in the centre.
The road, signposted La Rana, turns right past a house and you will see the car park ahead of you. Driving from Javea you can actually see the car park and tree on your right as you approach the roundabout.
Weather, again, forecasted to be unsettled, so fingers crossed!!
