The next Talking Art meeting will be on Tuesday the 26th March; usual time and place: 11.00 am at the Javea Players Studio Theatre.
Following on from my talk on Gustave Klimt (November) we will be looking at his younger Viennese colleague and protege, Egon Schiele (1890-1918) whose tragically short life was bound to and informed his art; an art which was then and still is, highly controversial.
If you wish to attend, please let me know in good time on talking.art@u3ajavea.com. I beg to remind you that we need to average 15 members each month in order to cover the modest rental for the room. If you know of anyone who might be interested, then do please let them know.
Again I apologise for the communication problems last month, which led to me having to cancel the meeting. I do hope that this message gets through whatever barrier stopped my February notices. That meeting, on three pre-expressionist artists: Munch, Ensor and Kollwitz, I may present at a future date if members wish.
