The U3A Photography Group aka Shutterbugs took a different approach to their meeting this month and went virtual. Mal being away and Colin at the Group Leaders Dinner led to virtual being the best option. Pictures were sent in via email with Colin being the only one to view them. They were then sent out to the members with no names attached, each member then chose 3 pictures. These were then collated by Colin and the picture with the most votes won.
The project for the month was Macro with many brilliant pictures entered, of varied subject matter; 16 in total. At Shutterbugs we have some brilliant photographers with this month’s picture of the month going to Debbie Wenn (as shown above).
The photograph is sharp with a beautiful bokeh background, meaning blurring of background which enhances the sharpness of the subject matter; well done Debbie!
The project for November has been set by Colin Ruddle who won September’s Picture of the Month.
His chosen subject is Night Time Street Photography. Colin added, “I think this gives a tremendous amount of scope to make some amazing photos. I hope everyone enjoys the project and good luck”.
