Around 120 Javea U3A members enjoyed more than a few laughs over two nights at the Javea Players Studio.
They were attending the Javea Players Showcase production, a collaborative effort between the drama group and the U3A.
While it was free for U3A members, donations raised an impressive 1,285 euros for the Children’s Cancer Hospital charity in Ukraine.
U3A president Claude Grealy, dressed appropriately in the Ukrainian colours, jointly introduced the shows with Javea Players chairman Alastair Wallace.
Claude complimented the cast, describing the shows as “two fantastic nights of fun – a real laugh!”
