We hope that you will come along to our meeting on Monday 10th June at 10.30am in the Casa de Cultura in Jávea Old Town.
Please remember that this initiative is for everyone in the U3A Jávea. You may not need support today but it’s great to know that there’s help available. By coming along, you are helping our partners to understand your needs better. Above all, you’ll be helping to support those members who really do need our help today.
Amongst other things, we’re going to talk about:
- What do I do if I’m being discharged from hospital and need a nurse to call on me?
- Someone is coming on holiday and needs a wheelchair but I don’t want to buy one?
- If I have an important appointment with a doctor and need an interpreter, what should I do?
- I’m worried about my neighbour who has dementia- who can I talk to?
- The new shop being opened in Jávea by Help of Marina Alta which will supply emergency medical equipment.
- and many many other topics.
Come and inform yourself before there is an emergency.
Remember that senior people from Help of Marina Alta, Radar Seniors, MABS, Weary Warriors Dementia Support, Project4all and Todos Juntos Jávea will all be present to answer your questions, along with the U3A Jávea Members Support Network Team. This is a unique event and opportunity.
After the meeting, we’d love it if you joined us at 12 noon for a drink and a tapa outside in Bar Imperial and we can answer any unanswered questions you have.
We’ve already had a great response and, as we are expecting a large number of people, please register your attendance using the form below:
