Members of Javea U3A’s Wednesday wine appreciation group (affectionately known as WAGS) enjoyed another entertaining and informative afternoon at the May meeting held at the Plaza 6 restaurant.
U3A members Christine and Mallory Glover presented five wines – two whites from Christine and three reds from Mallory – engrossing the group with their very different styles of delivery, both enlightening and humorous.
Thanks to group leaders Trevor and Sally Rush for once again organising another enjoyable event and to Plaza 6 staff for serving up a tasty one-course meal.
Raffle prize winners Barry Robbins, Hilary Grove, Jacqui Rogerson and Mai Bolt each went away with a bottle of the day’s wines.
