A new Javea U3A group is to be launched called Talking Art.
It is the brainchild of historian Robert Sedgley, who runs a similar group in Oliva and whose presentations to the U3A there have been extremely popular.
Robert will give his first talk to Javea U3A members at the Javea Players Studio in the old town on Wednesday October 19 at 11am. It will be open to all Javea U3A members. There will be a 2 euros entrance fee.
His presentation will be entitled ‘Van Gogh and Gauguin: The Early Years’.
Group Leader Robert is passionate about art and proposes to give talks on famous artists as well as Art Nouveau. He hopes members will enjoy his lectures and join in with their opinions and thoughts.
