On 11 September, the Dining Out Group opened their new season by scaling the Montgo and visiting Chalet Suizo.
Although it was a relatively small group that assembled at the restaurant, the feast that was laid on was magnificent.
We kicked off with a cava reception quickly followed by a choice of 3 starters. For the main course, there was a large choice of fish, steaks and a number of traditional Swiss dishes. I had the Zürich veal with Rösti which was fabulous.
The wine flowed liberally and the meal finished with a Chalet Suizo “Surprise” dessert and coffee. Everyone agreed that we had enjoyed a fantastic evening and a delicious meal.
