Last Tuesday’s Travellers Tales’ meeting was attended by 50 members who enjoyed a very interesting presentation given by Gillian Epsom about her trip with husband Hugh, In Search of the Aurora Borealis. Gillian showed some wonderful photos and with her explanations, we learned a lot about the phenomena, along with the cultural and historical aspects of the tour. Although disappointed at not having witnessed a major light show as often portrayed, nevertheless, Gillian and Hugh had a very enjoyable trip full of great experiences. Gillian was given a warm round of applause and presented with a gift of wine from the group leader, Angela.
The next TT meeting will take place on Tuesday 17th December, when Angela will give an account of her recent trip to Brazil with her daughter, Becky. As this will be the last one before Christmas, there will be mince pies and sherry included!
Venue: the Javea Players Studio, doors open at 10.30 hrs with the presentation commencing at 11.00 hrs, and lasting for approximately 1 hour.
