Valerie and I would like to coach some new Canasta Hybrid card players for our 2025 group.
Although places are limited, we’d like to encourage experienced card lovers/players (a knowledge of Canasta itself is not necessary}; people who enjoy tactical play, tricky decisions and a fun informal afternoon. We are looking for two card playing couples to join us and we will coach them privately until they are happy to play with the group.
What is Hybrid Canasta?
If you are familiar with the game of Canasta or other card games such as Partner Whist, Gin Rummy, Bridge, Uno, or similar games then this tactical, tricky and fun game is for you. You don’t need a partner.
Please note this is not Traditional Canasta or Aussie rules, our aim is to gain maximum points through tactics and teamplay. A great game for all card enthusiasts.
Our group is very informal and friendly, we play in the Cafe La Mesa Comun (by the Dolphin Roundabout in the Port).
