This Wednesday at the Javea Wine Tasting Group – affectionately known as WAGS – at La Cocina restaurant in the Port, presenters Duncan and Julie stood in for group leaders Sally and Trevor Rush.
And members thoroughly enjoyed their excellent presentation, the theme of which was HARLEQUINS.
Giving a resume of how Harlequins came about, the first four wines – white, rosado and two reds – all showed labels with very colourful Harlequins. The fifth wine was a Ribero del Duoro with a plainer label.
After the wine tasting, a very enjoyable lunch was served, followed by the raffle draw.
