High fashion and high spirits abounded at the end of the Summer Ball at Carrasco. Outside on the terrace, the cava flowed, and the Steel Band played, and everyone caught up with old friends.
Then dinner inside, followed by after dinner speeches, the Raffle, and dancing to the 20/20 band. The raffle was in aid of HELP of Marina Alta (who provide short term medical or health related support) and 560 euros will be donated to support their good work.
HELP are supporting our new Members Support Network, particularly those hospitalised in Denia. The President thanked HELP for the support they have already given to members who were in touch with our Support Network, and Candy Wright, MBE, President of HELP, said a few words.
Claude also thanked the Ball Team for all the work they did over the summer, organising such a wonderful evening. Then the 20/20 Band entertained us all, and members showed that they can still boogie with the best!
