Last Friday 73 members enjoyed a lovely evening at the Jávea Golf Club restaurant. The food and service were excellent, and there was much convivial conversation with friends old and new.
James Hurst, our resident DJ, kept us on our feet with some great music to dance and sing along to!
At the end of the evening Angela thanked James for entertaining us all so well, along with Jose and his team for the excellent dinner and service which had made it such an enjoyable occasion. Angela also gave a special thank you to Ally O’Brien for helping set up and to Tom Miller for taking the photos.
Booking is now open for the Summer Dine & Dance evening which will be held at the Parador de Jávea on Friday 19th June.
Come and join the fun at the Dine & Dance Summer Party which will be held in the Parador de Jávea where there is plenty of room for dancing to music provided by our favourite DJ, James Hurst. We will have the Cap de la Nao Salon for our event, which is the room downstairs adjacent to the gardens, where a bar will be available for purchase of pre-dinner drinks (own cost), so you can mingle with friends in the gardens before we sit down for dinner at 19.30 hrs.
Programme
18.45 hrs: Drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.
19.30 hrs: Dinner.
20.30 hrs: Background music initially followed by music for dancing, by our DJ James Hurst.
23.00 hrs: End of evening.
Dress: Smart casual; or dress to impress!
Price: €46 per person
Booking is now open and payment is by card (a link will be provided) or by bank transfer to the Jávea U3A Caixa bank account. Please note that 7 days’ notice will be required for cancellation unless your place is taken over by another member.
Book individually and join the solos table, as a couple, or share a table with friends (tables for 10). As it is a large venue with plenty of space for dining and dancing, friends and family are welcome to join you.

Premium drinks will be at an additional cost.
