Steve Young was born in Derby in 1960. His entire career was spent in banking and financial services where he learned a little bit about marketing, communications and technology.
Steve manages the U3A Jávea website and writes most of the stories that you see there. He’s also our unofficial photographer and is 100% to blame if you don’t like a picture on the website.
Steve moved to Jávea in 2019 and lives at the Montgó with his wife and 2 German Shepherd dogs.
He has two children both of whom now live in Australia. Apart from travelling, Steve is a keen bird watcher, photographer and an avid fan of Derby County Football Club.
