Just a reminder that our next meeting will be at Javea Players Studio next Tuesday, the 17th of March. 2.30 pm onwards for 3 – 5pm. There is a charge of €2 per head for the rent of the studio.
It’s competition time ! There will be PRIZES !
I want you to all look for a photograph of yourselves between the age of 3 and 15 say, don’t show anybody. Put your photograph in an envelope (not see through) with your name on the outside of the envelope and give it to me on the 17th of March when you arrive. If it is an original photograph, don’t worry I’m going to put them all in plastic sleeves. Also don’t worry if there is a name on the back, no one will be allowed to pick them up. I shall also put a name label on every person to enable the identification.
Of course the competition is to guess who the photograph belongs to. Even if you don’t want to take part in the competition, please make an effort to come, we have to pay for the studio and I need at least 15 people to make it viable. I’ll buy the crisps, but you have to buy the wine !
We will also still have the usual questions and answers, Mick Winn is arriving the day before so hopefully he’ll make the meeting, be nice to have him back. Remember, he is addicted to genealogy and we need to constantly feed him brick wall questions etc.
All U3A members are welcome, just turn up if you would like to find out more about what we do. See whether we are nice people or not, (we’re all stupendously friendly) Maybe there are some skeletons in your family cupboard that you would like to find out more about and play detective. You will be made very welcome.
