SC&C day trip: Alcoi’s Artisanal Aperitifs

After leaving Jávea we will make our way to Alcoi for a visit to Licores Sinc S.A. which, since its foundation in 1964, has been producing and distributing artisanal liqueurs and spirits. The company does not normally run tours, so this will be a unique opportunity for our U3A members.
The company has modern facilities of more than 10,000 m2, where modernity and tradition coexist in perfect harmony. Their product range includes a wide variety of macerated and distilled drinks, whose production combines traditional methods with the most current innovation. The product range consists of a wide variety of distilled and macerated beverages, including traditional drinks protected by the Regulatory Council of Traditional Spirits of Alicante, such as the Alcoy Coffee Aperitif or the Sierra de Mariola Herbero.
Continuous product development has allowed the company to incorporate specialties that include the best alcohols and spirits from such prestigious denominations of origin as Dominican Rum or Scotch Whisky. After the distillery guided tour, in English, there will be a tasting of some of their liquors and you can also visit the shop.
After the visit we will reboard our coach and travel to a nearby restaurant for lunch, before returning to Jávea late afternoon.
PROGRAMME – FRIDAY 17TH JANUARY 2025
09.00 hrs: Departure from Golden Star Apartments, Calle Bruselas, Javea Arenal.
09.15 hrs: Departure from Interiors (opposite side of the road), Javea port.
09.30 hrs: Pickup at Mas y Mas on the N332 if required. Short refreshment break enroute.
11.30 hrs: Arrival and guided tour of Licores Sinc, SA.
13.30 hrs: Reboard our coach and travel to nearby restaurant for an included lunch.
14.00 hrs: Lunch.
16.00 hrs: Return to Javea.
18.00 hrs: Approximate time of arrival in Javea.
TRIP INCLUDES
This will be a small group tour and includes transport by coach, guided visit, lunch, gratuities, €1 pp contribution to new U3A travel fund.
