The U3A Travel Group took two coachloads of members on a day trip to Valencia – and a few even went to the Moon!
One of those lucky enough to ‘board the space shuttle’ was group leader Amanda Jordan, who enjoyed the experience courtesy of the city’s Science Museum space simulator.
She is pictured with fellow astronauts Alex, Pauline and Jacqui.
Most of the day-trippers chose to keep their feet firmly on the ground, spending their time in the city centre visiting the shops, restaurants and bars.
