Albufera is a fresh water lagoon near Valencia, it is located next to the rice fields and the fresh water is
used to flood the rice fields to grow the rice.
It is the largest fresh water lake in Spain some 2,800 hectares and is home a wide variety of birdlife and
and vegetation.
The trip is arranged for Friday October 6th we will leave Javea 0900 Arrive at the town of El Palmar next
to the lagoon about 1030 after a comfort/ coffee break we meet up at 1130 for a 40 minute boat trip
exploring the lagoon after which you have free time to explore the town and rice fields then have lunch
of your own choosing.
The coach will leave 1530 for the return to Javea.
Price is 21e per person which includes Coach, boat and driver’s tip.
