Chair Yoga – Expressions of interest welcomed

We have the opportunity to form a Chair Yoga group within U3A Jávea.

The activity offers many benefits, especially to an ageing population.

As the name suggests, it is the practice of yoga and related exercises while seated in a chair or using the chair for support while standing.

The benefits are improved balance, the building of strong and healthy muscles, relief of back pain and stiffness of the body.

At the same time, it aims to improve your mental well being by stimulating the brain and giving a gentle stimulation of the cardiovascular system.
