We believe there would be strong support for a U3A Javea Christmas Day lunch this year.
It would be especially valuable for members who might otherwise be alone, as well as for those who would enjoy sharing a festive meal with friends. If we are able to take over an entire restaurant exclusively for our members, it would help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We are now looking for volunteers to help organise this event. This could be taken on by an individual, a couple of friends, or spouses working together. If you are interested, please contact Mike Frost groups.coordinator@u3ajavea.com.
Plenty of advice and support will be available. This is a wonderful opportunity to give something back to our U3A and make a real difference.
