After leaving Jávea we will travel to Huerto Ribera where there will be a welcome coffee/tea and biscuits available in the courtyard in front of the beautiful 19th century modernist mansion.
Our tour will begin with an introduction to the estate, which dates from 1870, by a specialist guide who will accompany the group on a walk through the gardens and orange orchards. The techniques used to grow oranges and the different varieties will be explained, as well as other fruit crops (mandarins, avocados, Buddha’s hand, lemons, kumquats, grapefruits, pomegranates, papayas, medlars…). You will then be invited to pick some oranges to take home!
Next there will be a tasting of natural juice, homemade jams, orange blossom honey & Valencian liqueurs, before experiencing the Vermouth Workshop, where we will learn about the origin and history of authentic Valencian Vermouth, make our own artisanal Vermouth and taste samples of this typical Valencian drink.
At the end of our visit to Huerto Ribera, we will reboard our coach and travel to Molí Canyar, a charming restaurant located on the ground floor of an old restored 15th century mill. Rustic decoration that combines with fine wood and thick stone walls, arches and other elements that make it special where you can absorb its 500 years of history, and it still preserves the machinery intact. The elegant entrance, the columns, the old mill machinery, the pond, beautiful gardens and fountains, combine to provide a lovely place to dine.
After lunch we will reboard our coach for the journey back to Jávea,

08.30 hrs: Departure from Golden Star Apartments, Calle Bruselas, Jávea Arenal.
08.45 hrs: Departure from Interiors (opposite side of the road), Jávea port.
Pickup at Mas y Mas on the N332 if required. Comfort stop en route.
10.30 hrs: Arrival at Huerta Ribera for guided visit as described.
13.00 hrs: End of visit and departure for Potríes.
14.00 hrs: Lunch at the Restaurant Molí Canyar, Potríes.
16.05 hrs: Departure and return to Jávea.
17.00 hrs: Approximate time of arrival in Jávea.
