What a corker to start the year. Those steam punters amongst us were enthralled.
Recommended by Genevieve Lawrence The watchmaker of filigree street was a complex but well written, well researched entertaining detective story set in Victorian times in both London and Japan.
The main characters were all quite bizarre.
We’re introduced to Grace Carrow a high society Physicist, Thaniel a telegraphist working for the home office and Keith Morí the eccentric Japanese horologist. Not forgetting our lovely Katsu. Their relationships are interwound and at times unbelievable.
Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
