Dear Member
It is indeed an honour and a privilege to have been elected President of this wonderful organisation. So now we have Irish, English, Polish and Danish on the Executive, reflecting the wide diversity of nationalities, languages, cultures, backgrounds, religions, interests, ages and professions of our members.
I now stand at the end of a long line of Presidents, stretching back 16 years. I hope I can live up to the high expectations that members have of their Committee members!
Thank you to Mike Cox, who had the bad luck to serve as President during the pandemic. Hopefully I shall have better luck ☘️ with the Beastly Bug 🐞 and it will be stamped 🐜 out soon.
Then I can look forward to hugging all 1,411 of you (but not All at the same time please)!
