We had another very enjoyable quiz night last Tuesday when our QM was Tony Lawton. Once again he produced some thought- provoking and interesting sets of questions. These ranged from identifying a song from a line of lyrics, guessing a novel from a few sentences, plus the usual suspects of general knowledge, history and geography.
Our six teams beavered away and all performed well. The runners up were, ” I know ‘nattink’” (think Manuel from Fawlty Towers) who scored 42 points.
They were pipped at the post by Six of the Best who scored just half a point extra.
Well done to everyone.
