Over 100 members booked for the latest Dine & Dance evening at the Restaurante La Fontana on the Jávea Arenal, and what a fun night we had! Angela welcomed everyone and announced that it was a very special evening as we were helping Ian Foster to celebrate his 80th birthday, and we all sang happy birthday to him.
Dinner was then served which was excellent – served hot and efficiently, along with the wine. There were plenty of waiters on duty to make sure that we had very good, attentive service.
As always, James Hurst provided a great choice of music for us all to dance to, with a very little lady having a dance too with her mum!
As the postre was served, Ian’s dessert was brought specially to him with a sparkler candle, along with another rendition of happy birthday, a glass or two of cava, and Angela presented a birthday gift to Ian, on behalf of the Dine & Dance group.
More dancing to great songs, until it was soon time to come to an end. It had been a lovel evening with a party atmosphere and Angela thanked the waiters and James for looking after us all so well. A special thank you to Tom Miller for the following videos and to Tom & Angela for the photographs.
