Wags Too enjoyed another splendid lunchtime at the L’Escut restaurant, we are just beginning to feel settled there. Elizabeth and team make us very welcome especially with the log fire roaring on our arrival. Then the tapas with every wine is always thoroughly enjoyable, fingers crossed that they will continue to make us welcome.
This month Haken and Maria gave their inaugural presentation which was very well received. Their professional life was most evident in the confidence of their delivery, sharing with us some of their current favourite wines from the supermarkets. We were all most appreciative of their choices and the accompanying tapas, no wonder we have a long waiting list to join us.
