Tuesday Reading Group Christmas Lunch
At our December Reading Group, George Thomas presented “The House of Doors” by the prize-winning Malaysian author Tan Twan Eng. After a lively discussion, the group enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Restaurante Amarre 152.
The event brought together members of the reading group for a festive celebration to mark the end of a successful year of reading and discussion. Unfortunately, due to health issues some of our members were unable to attend.
The venue, with a relaxing view over the marina, was beautifully decorated with festive ornaments which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lunch and the service were excellent, liberally assisted with quality wines.
