New SC&C day trip: The Clandestilería Experience!

Friday 7th March 2025

Discover the process of making an authentic gin and enjoy artisan gin while the secrets hidden in La Clandestilería are revealed. La Clandestilería is a signature artisanal distillery located in the town of Beniflà, in the heart of the La Safor region. Using traditional production methods and all-natural, top-quality raw materials, the distillates are created at a slow heat and in small batches using a traditional copper still. A process carried out entirely by hand that allows the distillery to dedicate all the time and care necessary to make each batch unique.

La Clandestilería was born from several years of research and testing in the world of spirits, which has allowed the company to create a signature artisanal distillery that meets the highest quality standards. Dedicated mainly to the production of gin, they have created “Gin Roders”, which has been awarded countless prizes in the most prestigious international competitions.

In its production, they only use natural botanicals, several of which are native to the Valencian Community, such as lavender or bitter almond, as well as 100% cereal alcohol of the highest quality, without any additives such as colourants, flavourings or sweeteners. Finally, they carry out the bottling and corking, as well as the placement of labels and various accessories on the bottle such as the leather stopper, which are done entirely by hand, also including quality control and final numbering of both the bottle and the batch, which gives the product extraordinary uniqueness.
