Donate to the Red Cross to help the victims of the DANA floods

Many members have contacted us to ask how they can make a donation to the victims of the DANA floods.

The message from the Valencian Government is that, above all else, they need money to be able to fund the rescue effort and to source those things which are most needed in the affected areas.

We have also posted the details of an Aid Collection point being run by the Xàbia Council – click HERE for details.

One of the organisations at the forefront of the rescue efforts is the Spanish Red Cross (Cruz Roja Española). They have already mobilised three teams to work in the devastated areas (including volunteers from Jávea) and are delivering medical and practical help to the victims.

The U3A Jávea is organising a collection for the Red Cross. You can send your donation using the payment link or you can scan the QR code below. We will collect all of your donations and send them to the Red Cross.

You can also send a Bank Transfer to us. Please quote “Red Cross” as your reference.
