One of the casualties of COVID was a Members Group called Satcine. The Group met to watch a film on Saturday nights. It was a popular Group which met once a month and many people came an hour before the film to meet friends and to have a drink together.
There is an opportunity to re start a cinema evening group at the DAR Community Centre on Carretera Jesus Pobre only five minutes outside Jávea (www.darcentre.com).
We’re looking for a Group Leader whose job it would be to select the film and mail out information to to the group. On the night, they would help collect the €4 entry fee for which credit is given for refreshments at the bar/restaurant.
Not too arduous! The question is …as Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry. Do you feel lucky?
