There are evenings that stand out for their sheer enjoyment and vibes and last Friday night was definitely one of those! It was a glorious sunny day last Saturday for the Getaway Walk – the Marjal del Moros – which is a wetland located in Camp de Morvedre, Puçol. It was a packed house for last Tuesday’s Travellers Tales meeting, with over 70 members attending the presentation given by Wendy & John Ranger: Sri Lanka, the Enchanted Isle. What an excellent presentation it was, as Wendy explained different facets of Sri Lanka’s culture and told us about the various places which they had visited, whilst John took control of the projection, showing some great photos which they had taken during the tour, including pics of John wearing a “skirt”!…

Our annual ‘Thank You’ lunch for our unpaid volunteer Group Leaders was held in the beautiful Attico Restaurant on Friday as a small token of appreciation from the Committee and Members for all their hard work during the year.
