There was plenty of Christmas spirit(s) at the latest WAGS meeting!
The U3A’s wine-tasting group celebrated the first of its two Christmas lunches on Wednesday, followed by the second on Thursday – and members celebrated with a festive sing-song and a Christmas quiz as well as a delicious dinner served by staff at La Cocina restaurant in the Port.
And a raffle with a difference meant EVERY member went away with a bottle of wine!
Member Trevor Lott proposed a special vote of thanks to group leaders Trevor and Sally Rush, who run two wine-tasting lunches every month as well as organising this extremely popular annual Christmas climax to the year.
