Javea U3A’s first occasional Coffee Morning proved a successful new venture as well as being a big hit for charity. A collection among members attending raised more than 260 euros for the Red Cross Appeal for victims of the war in Ukraine. Special congratulations to U3A Vice-President Claude Grealy and long-term member Brenda Bates, who between them came up with the idea of the social get-together and played a major part in making guests welcome.
