Over 60 members of the Travellers’ Tales group attended the meeting last Tuesday in the Javea Players’ Studio, where the group leader, Angela Chantry, gave a presentation on her 3-week cruise with her daughter in June, to the Norwegian Fjords and Scandinavia.
Angela gave an account of all the various activities available on the Celebrity Apex during the few days spent at sea. Also how it was possible to see so many wonderful sights during the days ashore (all docks, no tenders) without having to pay for any of the ship’s excursions, which are generally so expensive.
Beautiful scenery, castles, palaces, museums, walks in the countryside and by the sea, mountains, lakes and waterfalls – it was an excellent itinerary.
Angela also described the high standard of the food and entertainment on the Celebrity Apex and one of the highlights of the cruise – the Captain marrying 6 couples on board, on the final day of the cruise. Champagne all round!
