Christmas is Coming!

This is your chance to book your Christmas Day lunch early and have it all sorted.

A few months ago we asked for expressions of interest for a U3A Christmas Day lunch. We wanted to provide a setting where like-minded people could get together and have some FUN at what can be a lonely and difficult time.

We now have the menu which is below at a total price of 50€ which includes three courses, wine or water/beer or soft drink and the tip so no more to pay!!!!!!!

We have block booked Restaurante Plaza 6 (below) for Christmas Day lunch. Plaza 6 hosts many U3A events during the year and has a reputation for good food and service.

Creamy Lobster Soup

Carpaccio of Duck breast with Cranberry sauce and side salad
Scallops with a spinach-parmesan-sauce

Fillet of Cod with green asaparagus, white wine caper sauce and sauted potatoes
Confit de pato (duck leg) with french beans, cranberry sauce and potato rosti
Turkey with brussel sprouts, red wine sauce and potato gratin
Sole with herb butter, spinach and mashed potatoes

Chocolate souffle with pistacho ice cream and vanilla sauce

Selection of sorbets with fruits

Vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce

Price per person 50 € incl. 0,5 ltr. of house wine or a beer or a soft drink or water

Note that deposits will be paid to the restaurant as soon as possible. In the event of your cancellation your money can only be refunded if we can get a replacement.
