Jesús Pobre and the Windmills
Report and Photos by Wendy Ranger.
It was so good to be back leading this lovely group after a few weeks off. 22 members joined me to walk around Jesus Pobre and the windmills on an absolutely perfect day. There is still a lot of colour in the hedgerows, and in particular we saw a lot of a vibrant yellow flower, which one member told me was called a Woolly Sunflower. Towards the end of the walk half of the group took a short-cut back to the cars, while the other half joined me to walk through the village and past the Church. A great morning’s walking.

Next walk will be 21st May 2026
The Hills and Valleys of Gata de Gorgos. Also known as the Dirty Pond walk!
