As a member of U3A Jávea you have some control over the types of emails you receive from us.
At the bottom of each email you will find two links like this
Unsubscribe | Manage your subscription
Do not use the Unsubscribe option unless you wish to stop receiving emails from the U3A altogether.
As email is our only channel of communication, ‘Unsubscribe’ would rarely be the correct option if you are remaining as a member.
The Manage your subscription option enables you to change the types of email you receive.
Here is a list of some of the emails we send to members and which you can choose to receive or not.

| Virtual Membership Card | We use this email to issue your card using your name and membership number extracted from our database Please do not unsubscribe from this list | On joining and annually after payment of the renewal fee |
| History Group | Information about History Group meetings | |
| Walking Group | Information about current walks | During walking season |
Please do not unsubscribe from General Emails or Virtual Membership Card otherwise you will not receive important news about membership changes or your virtual card.
To Manage your subscription, click on the link in the email, and note:
- If you do not wish to receive emails from any of the categories listed, simply untick it.
- If you wish to subscribe to any that are not shown as ticked apply to the Group Leader or Web Updater to be added to the list
- Please note that you don’t need to re-enter your email address if it is displayed correctly.
If your browser is logged in with the email address used by the U3A, you will see the lists you are receiving below.
Subscription management form is only available to mailing lists subscribers.
