In 1948, Walt Disney produced a film called The Old Settler Johnny Appleseed & Johnny’s Angel. When Rosalind was a child in New York, every American knew of Johnny Appleseed, the man who sowed delicious & nutritious apples across America so that no one would ever go hungry again.
In fact, Johnny’s real life was not quite as Disney portrayed it, but the reality is much more fascinating than the fiction. To find out more about this fascinating historical figure . . . & perhaps more than you ever thought you might want to know about apples . . . do come along!
