U3A members enjoyed a voyage around the southernmost tip of South America and the Antarctic at the latest meeting of the Travellers’ Tales group.
Fellow member John Reynolds gave a fascinating presentation, entitled “Round the Horn and Back in Time for Tea – Part 2”, sharing tales of his adventures with his wife Jane on a cruise onboard ‘Celebrity Infinity’.
He illustrated his talk with some wonderful photos of beautiful scenery, crystal-clear waters and breathtaking glaciers as well as wildlife including birds, penguins and whales. An excellent presentation enjoyed by a capacity audience. As it was the first Travellers’ Tales meeting of the new year, group leader Angela Chantry laid on refreshments for visitors to the Javea Players Studio.
