The sun shone on our New Members Group this morning but no one had any inkling of the storms that would come later.
The meeting was attended by 19 people including many familiar faces and some people who were new to the group. A warm welcome to you all.
There were useful discussions and recommendations on everything from financial, postal, medical and recreational topics. We now have lots of tips, particularly regarding leisure activities.
It was particularly useful to have Claude our U3A President along to share his wisdom on some of the above.
I am hoping to organise a breakfast meeting at some point in July for those who are interested.
